We specialize in un-broke and problem horses of most breeds.

We use the conditioned response method.  Repetition and work instead of pain, to gain control of your horse.  Control without pain leads to trust and a better partner.  Gone are the days of "cowboy" breaking, causing physical and psychological damage to the horse.The horse is often just a mirror image of the rider's own attitude.  The methods that we use, pioneered by John & Josh Lyons, are based on respect, love, trust, gratification, and the subtle communication cues that occur between horse and rider.

What you can expect from us:

You can come and watch any of the training sessions. We only ask that you call ahead of time so that we can wait until you are here before we work with your horse.  In fact, we encourage you to come and spend time with your horse...groom him, love him, just hang out with him.

Quality veterinary care if needed.

Quality farrier if needed.

We give you a one-hour lesson with your horse each week at no additional cost.  We encourage you to do this so that you understand the methods and approach we are using to train your horse.

Your horse is kept in its individual lot with quality hay.  He/she is fed grain twice a day and is handled/petted at each feeding.
