Meet Mike
Mike grew up on horses. When he was young, he owned a horse that no one else would get on! Being the only one to be able to ride this horse built his confidence & knowledge on handling very spirited horses.
When in college, he started riding bulls in rodeos. This experience was short lived, however, due to a tractor accident which caused him to loose his left foot. This has not stopped him from living his life to the fullest, though. Anything from climbing trees, skiing, playing softball, to horse training. During his certification graduation, Josh Lyons talked about this and called him phenomenal.
When Mike married and had two children, he moved his family from Mississippi to Georgia so he could make a better living. Living just outside of Atlanta, they had no room for horses. So, his kids did not have the opportunity to grow up with horses. Missing horses and the country lifestyle led Mike to move his family back to Mississippi where he now has his training facilities. Located in Lafayette Cty, just north of Oxford
Matt and Mike enjoy competing in Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Mike also serves as president and range master in the Mississippi Cowboy Mounted Shooters Association. The competition, fast riding and shooting in CMSA is their #1 thrill.
