My story began last February when I had come to an end with my 12 year old Polish Arabian Mare, Jules. She was given to me from a friend that told me that I would never be able to ride her and that she hated men. Well, after trying to work with her for over a year I started to think she was right!
I found Matt Wolfe through Heart Centered Horsemanship in Victor, Montana. Matt had graduated from the John Lyons Certification Program and also completed the Apprenticeship program at Heart Centered Horsemanship with Ron & Kathy Valentine in Victor, Montana. I was looking for somebody to help me build a relationship with Jules and to help build my confidence and her trust. After 30 days of training, my husband and I agreed to leave Jules with Matt for an additional 30 days. Matt included 8 lessons with the 60 days of training and what a difference that made! Both Jules and I built our confidence and respect within one another and have excelled since. I continue to take weekly lessons with Matt and will be enrolling in his Apprenticeship program in the spring.
